Hey y'all! I'm Samantha!

About Samantha

Hi, beautiful! I’m Samantha: a photographer, mom & wife.
I fell in love with photography as a teen but began my business when covid first started and have since grown it into a full-time career photographing joyful clients!
But, there's a whole lot more to me than the love for beautiful photos and business...so let's dive in!

Some fun facts about me:

1 - I will be you hype girl through your whole session!

2 - I love Jesus! He's first in my heart & I hope that you feel his love through me.

3 - I love minimalism & I've really enjoyed clearing the

clutter from my home.

4 - I love hanging out with my kids and learning their teen lingo.

5 - I have a dream to ride in a hot air balloon above

mountains at sunrise

6 - I can't wait to work with you & learn more about you!

If you would had told me 10 years ago that I’d have the opportunity to be a full-time photographer and business owner, I would have laughed. Because, the thing is, a few years ago I was a busy stay at home mom trying to keep my head above water raising little ones and making sure all their homeschooling requirements were satisfied. My life was a constant race between cleaning the house, taking care of kids, getting them to their classes, meetups, events & making sure to hold down the fort while my husband traveled with the military. The thought of being an entrepreneur seemed daunting and far off, if not impossible.

BUT, EVERYTHING CHANGED WHEN I DECIDED TO TAKE THE LEAP OF FAITH AND DIVE INTO PHOTOGRAPHY.

Maybe the stay at home mom life I committed to wasn’t where I was supposed to be. Maybe, just maybe, the path I had planned wasn't the only option. So, one morning, I made a HUGE decision: I was buying a camera, pursuing this crazy, unattainable, unaffordable dream full time and continuing to stay home & raise my babies. I was going to chase after those dreams like a crazy person. It worked! Here I am serving my senior clients & their families daily. Every day, I am deeply thankful for the opportunity to pursue my passion by serving and loving my clients.

2024

A peak into my life in the PNW:

I am a mom to two teenagers as well as a cute little eight year old! I'm a wife to my better half, Brad (seriously he's amazing). They are my inspirations in life and my photography. I am a military spouse, I homeschool my kiddos, and I'm a woman who loves Jesus.

I am a senior & portrait photographer who captures special memories in life’s precious moments. I have always loved taking pictures of wonderful clients like you! I am excited to work with you and give you photos that you will treasure forever. I believe that good photography not only captures the beauty on the outside, but done right, can capture the beauty on the inside.

I have learned from some amazing professionals to include Brittany Bruce, Naomi Duncan, Emily Supiot and Hope Taylor . When I am not learning from them I am doing research on photography or I'm out practicing to keep growing & becoming the best I can be.
